Abstract
The aim of this paper is to reveal the viewpoint of the korean classical literature about jealousy and to make the base of literary therapy about jealousy. In <Dangunsinhwa(檀君神話)>, the jealousy of Beom(虎) is ignored. And the relationships are open-minded. In <Jumongsinhwa(朱蒙神話)>, the jealousy of Geumwa(金蛙) comes into view, but it is regarded as something to be conquered. In <Surobuinseolhwa(水路夫人說話)>, Sunjeonggong(純貞公) does not distort the relationship, so he is comparatively free from jealousy. In <Cheoyongseolhwa(處容說話)>, Cheoyong(處容) does not adhere to the relationship, so he is perfectly free from jealousy. Through these classical literary works we will be able to make the base of literary therapy about jealousy.
