The pattern used by Miao tribe seems to contain the human aspects such as the ethics of the times and life philosophy. And the theme represented by those patterns are the subjects in real life such as natural objects easily found in natural environment, tales reflecting racial characteristics, animal and plants symbolizing auspicious sign, peace, happiness, good harvest. The natural pattern was mixed with geometric pattern sometimes and only geometric patterns were used in other cases. The formativeness presented through all those subjects are expressed in imitative formativeness, modified formativeness, formativeness of synthetic natural forms, abstract formativeness.
