조선시대 포를 응용한 현대한복의 표현적 특성

The Korean Hanbok designers could get great opportunities and position in the international fashion industry as adapting our traditional elements to the modern design. Also, As investigate to application of modern fashion design, it is significant to recognize about our tradition and let them understand Korean beauty in the world fashion market. In order to study this subject, both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used to analyse the design elements of Korean traditional costume used in the designer's works found from the collections and fashion magazines. The purpose of the study is to analyze the expressive characteristics of the modern hanbok designers' works applying the Po in Joseon Dynasty. As a result, we need effort to fashion design completely modern with insight meaning of Korean characteristics about silhouette, color, and fabric of tradition. This study could be a great help to analysis the specific characters in modern Hanbok designers applying the our own costumes and tradition.

Abstract
