초록

Costume style of 25 military officer’s statuses of the Joseon Dynasty remained on the noblemen’s tomb around Gyeounggi Province in Korea was grouped by 4 styles. First group was categorized by the pattern of gamtu (small size of hat) with the chullic (a coat with pleat skirt for man), which is called yungbok(robe worn by military afficers) style. This yungbok style was found from the 6 tombs of 15C. grave yard, including tombs of Lee Ae (1363~1414), Pricess Kyounh Shin(?~1426) and Han Aon(1448~1492). It was estimated to be a typical costume pattern of statues during later the Koryo Dynasty to early the Joseon Dynasty Second group was found by the patten of 6 tombs during late 15C to early 16C showing gamtu with jikryeoung (a kind of man’s coat) and it was categorized to be an official uniform style. Military style as a third group was found from 6 tombs including the status of tomb of Nam Kyoung Moon (early 15C.) and Lee Gil (1509~1565)It could be middle length jacket with a straight collar style with side vent and helmet,Fourth, armor style, which shows the pattern of helmet with armor was found from the tombs of Kim Jung Hang(1397~1453), Lee Cho, Dukheung daewongun(1530~1559) and Oh Myoung Hwang( 1673~1728), Lee Kwang, Jeon Gae Daewongun(1785~1841). With the above study, It was found that military status located in the noblemen’s tomb in the Joseon Dynasty was mainly built in early the Joseon Dynasty than late dynasty. Particularly, the costume style of military statuses built during 15C. to 16C. is matching with costume records of early the Joseon Dynasty.
