An Analysis of Research Trends on the Silver Clothing Industry - Based on Journal Publications from 2000 to 2014 -

This study investigates the Analysis of Research Trends on the Silver Clothing Industry. The aging is rapidly under way through the world and the age people that did not exist earlier is emerging due to the extension of expectancy in their life. Preceding studies and relevant web sites were analyzed along with a survey of commercial functional Silver Clothing Industry in Korea. The study considered research papers published by the 8 major apparel related journals (Korean Society of Costume, Korean Society of Clothing and Textile, Korean Association of Human Ecology, Costume Culture Association, Korea Fashion and Culture Design Association, Korean Society of Fashion Business, Korean Society of Design Culture, Society of Fashion and Textile Industry) on the KCI(Korea Citation Index). A total of 54 research papers that were related with Silver Clothing published from 2000 to 2014 were selected for the study in the form of descriptive statistics using the SPSS software ver. 18.0. Keywords used for searching included 'Silver Clothing Industry, senior, and elderly, Older generation apparel. In order to improve the Silver Clothing Industry should try to do continuation of research about Older generation.
