이 연구는 기업 이러닝 학습 환경을 활동이론(activity theory)에 기초하여 탐구하였다. 국내 기업을 대상으로 전화면담, 심층면담, 문서분석을 통해 각 기업의 이러닝 운영현황과 학습 환경의 특성을 조사한 후 이러닝 운영형태를 인프라 미비, 콘텐츠 유지 보수, 현상 유지 세 가지 유형으로 구분하였다. 각 유형별 대표 기업을 각각 한 곳씩 선정하여 해당 기업 교육담당자와 심층면담을 통해 각 기업 이러닝의 기술적, 조직적, 교육적 환경을 활동체계 모형으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 기업 이러닝에는 교육적 환경뿐 아니라 기술적, 조직적 환경 역시 이러닝 개발 및 실행에 큰 영향을 미치며 각 환경 구성요소간 강화관계를 구축하는 것이 기업 이러닝 운영의 주요한 활동이 되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze e-learning environment in corporate education by activity theory. To investigate the operation of e-learning and features of e-learning environment, nearly 10 HRD managers in different companies were interviewed. The findings from interviews show that there are three categories of phase in operation of e-learning. Three phases are the deficiency of technical and educational infrastructure, continuous maintenance of contents and maintenance of the status quo due to doubt of effectiveness. The study was conducted by in-depth interview with HRD managers who could represent each category to examine the technical, organizational and educational e-learning environment by the model of activity theory. The result of this study shows that e-learning in corporate education is affected by not only educational environment, but also technical and organizational environment. Moreover, by reinforcing the structure of each environment, the main activity of e-leaning in corporate education could be accomplished.
