이 논문은 사이코드라마의 창시자인 J. L. 모레노의 본래의 사이코드라마를 정확히 이해하려는 데에 목적이 있다. 국내에 사이코드라마가 들어온 지 45년여가 되었지만, 모레노에 대한 직접적인 연구가 제대로 이루어지지 않아, 결과적으로 모레노의 사이코드라마는 상당히 다르게 정착된 경향이 있다. 본 논문의 서론에서는 모레노가 정신치료 영역에서 사이코드라마를 창시하게 된 배경을 서술하고, 본론에서는 모레노가 정신치료에 처음으로 도입한 여러 개념들을 연관성에 따라 다섯 갈래로 나눠, 그 개념들에 모레노가 부여한 의미들을 최대한 그의 말을 직접 인용해 전달했다. 다섯 갈래는, 첫째 모레노가 사람과 사람 ‘사이’의 역동을 노출한 것, 둘째 삶의 ‘상황’을 치료에 도입한 것, 셋째 정신의 내용들을 구체적인 역할과 행위로 ‘구현’한 것, 넷째 주관적 몰입이라는 ‘실존’의 경험을 포착한 것, 다섯째 ‘종합’의 방법으로 창조하도록 한 것으로 나뉜다. 결론에서는 위의 서술들을 요약하고, 이와 달리 모레노의 사이코드라마가 국내에서 어떻게 다르게 정착되었는지에 대해 간략히 언급하였다.
Abstract
This paper aims to understand precisely historical background of foundation and concepts of the original Psychodrama of J. L. Moreno, the founder of Psychodrama. It has been forty five years since Psychodrama was introduced into Korea, but as immediate research of Moreno has not been attempted, Moreno's Psychodrama has been settled differently in Korea. In the introduction of this paper, I described the historical background that Moreno had founded Psychodrama. In body, I transferred many concepts that Moreno had introduced into psychotherapy, as immediately possible as he said and by five categories. The first category is about interpersonal relation among people, the second is about introducing situation into therapy, the third is about incarnation of mind with role and acting, and the fifth is about creating by method of synthesis. And in conclusion, I pointed out shortly how Moreno's Psychodrama has been settled in Korea.
