가정폭력행위자 대상으로 사이코드라마 집단상담 경험에 대한 질적 연구

본 연구는 가정폭력행위자를 대상으로 사이코드라마 집단상담을 시행하고 그 경험의 본질을 이해하고 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 ‘가정 폭력 범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법’에 따라 보호처분 8호 상담위탁 명령을 받아 경기 권역의 A가정폭력상담소에 위탁된 가정폭력행위자 10명을 대상으로 2022년 8월 16일부터 9월 8일까지 주 2회, 1회기당 3시간씩 총 8회기의 사이코드라마 집단상담을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi(1978)의 현상학적 연구절차를 활용하여 분석하였으며 연구 결과 5개의 범주와 14개 주제가 도출되었다. 5개의 범주는 ‘가정폭력행위로 인한 상황이 괴롭고 자괴감이 듦’, ‘집단원들과 공감대를 형성함’, ‘갈등상황과 상대방을 볼 여유를 갖게 됨’, ‘가족을 배려하는 행동이 나타남’, ‘종결 시 아쉽고 후련함을 표현함’ 등이다. 이는 가정폭력행위자의 사이코드라마 집단상담 참여 경험을 심층면담을 통해 질적 분석하였다는 점에 의의가 있으며, 가정폭력행위자가 부부 갈등상황을 객관화하여 배우자를 이해하고 대처방식의 변화 의지를 강화하는 기회가 제공되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to conduct psychodrama group counseling for domestic violence offenders and to understand and reveal the nature of their experiences. To this end, a total of eight psychodrama group consultations were conducted twice a week from August 16 to September 8, 2022 for 10 domestic violence offenders entrusted to the A domestic violence counseling center in Gyeonggi Province under the Special Act on Punishment of Domestic Violence Crimes. The collected data were analyzed using the phenomenological research procedure of Colaizzi (1978), and five categories and 14 topics were derived as a result of the study. The five categories include “The situation caused by domestic violence is painful and shameful,” “Building consensus with group members,” “Getting room to see conflict and others,” “Considerate actions for family members” and “Expressing regret and relief at the end.” This is significant in that it qualitatively analyzed the experience of domestic violence offenders participating in psychodrama group counseling through in-depth interviews, and opportunities for domestic violence offenders to objectify marital conflict situations to understand their spouses and strengthen their willingness to change their ways of coping.
