‘틸’ 동훈자의 의미고찰

Abstract

This paper examines the differences in meaning among the Chinese Characters which carry the same meaning. In the light of semantics, the meaning of the Characters become ambiguous but diversified, due to the occurrence of these Characters. The fact that there can be several meaning in a form imply that, among the Chinese Characters with the same meaning, there can be differences in meaning. Thus, we look into these Characters, showing the differences in meaning among them. In order to do this, adopting 2,355 Chinese Characters which are selected by The Society for Korean Language & Literary Research, we will consider how many Characters show this phenomenon, and examine the differences in meaning among the Characters which have the meaning of 'Til', namely, ‘gyeok(擊), gong(攻), gu(歐), bak(拍), beol(伐), ceong(征), ta(打), to(討), bak(搏), go(拷), su(捶), chu(椎), dal(撻), tea(笞), gu(扣), go(叩), dang(撞)’
