2015 개정 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정에 따른 초·중등 교과서 ‘가족’ 영역의 연계성 분석

이 연구는 2015 개정 실과(기술·가정) 교육과정에 따른 초등학교와 중학교 ‘가족’ 영역의 연계성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 실과와 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 총 36권을 분석 자료로 하였으며, 학습 내용의 수직적 연계성은 발전, 반복, 격차, 축소를 기준으로 하여 분석하였다. 또한, 연계성 분석을 위한 내용 기준은 ‘가족’ 영역을 ‘인간 발달, 인간관계, 결혼과 가족생활, 가족 복지’의 4개 기준으로 분류하였고, 이 기준에 속하는 10개의 내용 요소와 40개의 학습 요소로 분류 기준을 제시하였다. 분석 결과, 발전을 보인 내용 요소는 ‘인간 발달 과정과 특성, 가족 관계, 의사소통, 성에 대한 이해 및 임신·출산에서 성적 발달 특징, 가족의 변화와 가족 문제 해결에서 가족의 변화 관련 내용, 생애주기와 생애 설계에서 가정일 관련 내용, 건강 가정과 복지’이다. 격차를 보인 내용 요소는 ‘친구(또래) 관계, 이성 교제, 성에 대한 이해 및 임신·출산에서 성폭력 관련 내용, 가족의 변화와 가족 문제 해결에서 가정 폭력 관련 내용, 생애주기와 생애 설계에서 저출산·고령 사회, 가족 친화 문화 형성, 생애 설계와 진로 탐색’에 관한 내용 등이다. 그리고 반복은 ‘결혼과 가정의 의의’ 에서만 보이고 있다. 따라서 교육과정의 연계성을 살펴볼 때, 발전으로 분석된 내용 요소들이 가장 많아 대체적으로 연계성을 가지고 적절하게 구성되었다고 평가할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the articulations between the elementary and middle school 'family' area according to the 2015 revised Practical Arts(Technology and Home Economics) curriculum. To this end, a total of 36 textbooks, such as elementary school Practical Arts textbooks and middle school Technology and Home Economics textbooks, were used for analysis, and the vertical articulation of learning contents was analyzed based on development, repetition, gap, and reduction. In addition, the contents for the articulations analysis were classified into four criteria such as 'human development, human relations, marriage and family life, and family welfare', and 10 content elements and 40 learning elements belonging to these criteria were used for classification. As a result of the analysis, the content elements that showed development were 'human development process and characteristics, family relations, communication, sexual development characteristics in understanding of sex and pregnancy and childbirth, contents related to family change in changes in family and solving family problems, contents related to family affairs in life cycle and life design, healthy home and welfare’. The content elements that showed gap were 'friend (peer) relationship, dating relationship, contents related to sexual violence in understanding of sex and pregnancy and childbirth, contents related to family violence in changes in family and solving family problems, low birthrate and aging society in life cycle and life design, formation of family-friendly culture, life planning and career exploration’. Repetition appears only in 'significance of marriage and family'. Therefore, the revised curriculum can be evaluated as having been appropriately structured with articulations because it included the most number of content elements that were analyzed as ‘development’.
