위치기반 문학 정보서비스의 개발

초록

국문학과 지리학 분야에서 문학지리에 대한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 또한 웹기반의 지리정보서비스로 구현된 국내외 사례도 확인되지만, 지속적으로 갱신되는 웹서비스는 거의 없다. 그 이유는 DB 구축을 위한 노력 대비 이윤을 확보하기 어렵고, 국가나 시 단위의 연구과제가 주어졌을 때, 개발하여 논문을 쓰고, 과제 종료 이후 유지보수가 안되기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 문학 관련 지리정보 서비스 사례를 간략하게 소개하고, 범위와 내용, 구현기법 등을 분석하고, 지속가능한 서비스로서의 위치기반 문학서비스 구현사례를 소개하였다. GeoCul은 Geography (지리)와 Culture(문화)의 앞 음절을 합친 서비스 명칭이다. 문학공간과 이외에 영화공간을 포함시킨 이유는 젊은 세대들이 우리 서비스를 통해서 영화 촬영장소를 알게 되면서 문학에도 관심을 기울일 거라는 기대였다. 이 서비스는 구글 API와 반응형 앱 기술로 작성된 서비스 프로그램과 데이터의 관리를 위한 관리시스템으로 구성되고, 문학공간은 작가공간, 작품공간, 문학관 중심으로 구성된다. 장소 찾기는 내 위치에서 찾기와 주소로 찾기로 나뉜다. 이 외 영화의 경우 100만이 관객수를 가진 것을 우선 DB화하였다. 본 연구의 성과를 통해 변화무쌍한 관심 지점 정보가 아닌 문화공간에 대한 위치정보가 잘 축적되어, 장소와 공간에 의미를 더 찾을 수 있고, 작가도 작품도 위치정보를 통해 더 많은 독자를 만날 수 있기를 기대한다.

Abstract

Many studies on literary geography continue in the domains of Korean literature and geography. In addition, domestic and foreign web-based geographic information services have been established, but web-based services that are constantly updated are rare. The reason for this lack of consistency is that it is difficult to secure enough of a profit to justify the effort of building a database. Furthermore, such databases are only developed and written about in a thesis when national or city-level research tasks are assigned, and maintenance of the these are not possible after the tasks are completed. In this paper, examples of literature-related geographic information services were briefly introduced before their scope, content, and implementation techniques were analyzed. Finally, location-based literature service implementation examples as a sustainable service were discussed. GeoCul is a service name that combines the first syllables of Geography and Culture. The idea of including a literary space within the film space began with the expectation that the younger generation, who are more familiar with movies than poetry and novels, should be able to learn about classical literature as they learn about film studios or sites for films through our service. This service consists of a system for managing programs and applications with Google API and responsive application technologies. The literature space is composed of the writer’s space, the workspace, and the literary museum or memorial centers. There are two ways to find a place: 1) FIND from my location and 2) FIND by address. Since it is not possible to experience the depth and beauty of literature with only simple location services, we implemented functions such as drafting book reviews and leaving photos, which can be viewed in conjunction with the book reviews. We built a database for movies with a box-office viewing statistic of more than one million. It will be the role of the service to share location information on literature and movies on the site and spaces, rather than more variable information on points of interest such as restaurants and shops. I also expect that writers and poets will be able to meet more readers through the location information.
