국어교육과 한문교육의 연대와 공존방향을 찾기 위해서, 먼저 한문과의 정체성을 알고자했다. 한문과의 정체성을 찾기 위해 ‘도구교과, 언어교과’와 같은 교과적 성격과 ‘한문교사, 한문교과의 위상’ 등 실제 현장에서 실시되는 한문교육의 다양한 내․외적 양상에 대해 한문과와 국어과의 시각에서 각각 살펴보았다. 이러한 정체성 찾기가 먼저 필요한 이유는, 올바른 정체성을 찾을 수 있어야지 앞으로 나아갈 방향과 지향점을 알 수 있기 때문이다. 이는 곧 한문교육의 궁극적 목표와도 연결되리라 확신한다. 한문과의 정체성을 찾아 가는 길은 곧, 국어과와의 연관성을 찾아가는 길이며, 국어과와의 연결고리를 확인하는 작업이었다. 진정한 국어과 교육의 발전을 위해서도 대승적 관점에서 한문과와의 통합에 대해 국어과도 고민을 해야 할 때라고 본다.
Abstract
I’d like to know the identity of Classical Chinese curriculum to find solidarity and coexistence of the Korean Language and Classical Chinese education. To find it, I will go through the subjective nature such as Instrumental subject and language subject as well as the diverse internal and external aspects of Classical Chinese education in the field like the status of a Classical Chinese teacher and Classical Chinese Curriculum from the perspective of the Classical Chinese and Korean curricula respectively. I have to find this identity so I can know the direction and sole purpose through it. I have confidence that it is connected by the ultimate purpose of Classical Chinese Education. By examining the identity of Classical Chinese curriculum I will find its association to Korean Language curriculum. It’s time for Korean Language teachers to consider consolidating the two curricula from a broad point of view in order to further develop Korean Language education.
