초록
“Ryu” is a short story by Ryunosuke Akutagawa published in “Chuo Koron” in 1918.This work uses the material of “Uji Shui Monogatari” as the main character, and the main character is the Hanazou, which is reminiscent of the hero's Naigu of “Nose” (1916).At the end of the story, the shallow attitude of Hanazou over the ascension of the dragon is clearly shown.Hanazo's no backbone and superficial personality was a mischief that initially tried to make fun of people, but as a result, Nagura himself was made fun of by people and treated as a dishonest person.Through Hanazo, this work describes the patheicl appearance of modern people who are full of vanity and do not have their own subjectivity, change their principles depending on their convenience and inconvenience, and are swayed by the people around them.
