녹색관광 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

With the introduction of the 5-day-a-week working system, the full-scaled leisure era has come andfarm villages are having their values newly recognized. Recently, as a strategy to develop farm villages to makepeople feel the cultures, natural scenery, ecosystem, quietness, and warmth of farm villages, green tourism isbeing discussed. Green tourism is that farmhouses offer sleeping accommodations and develop foods and specialproducts, and that events and empirical programs are added to them for the extensive exchange between cities andfarm villages. The supply of green tourism makes a contribution to the increase in the income of farmhouses andfurther, can activate the countryside villages that are inactive. This research intends to propose the way to activategreen tourism which is being highlighted as a new sightseeing product. For this, this research examined theexisting literatures, through which it formulated the theoretical background of green tourism, covering its concept,meanings, and relevant research trend. Through the case studies in foreign countries (Germany, France, England,and Japan), this paper proposed the ways of activating green tourism in Korea.
