무용즉흥을 통한 초등학생의 사회성·교우관계·학교생활만족도 변화 연구

The present study also aims to explore the impacts of dance improvisation before and after the class as well as to investigate correlation among socialityㆍcompanionshipㆍsatisfaction with school life. For this purpose, 150 pupils (76 males and 74 females) were selected as subjects from among the 6th graders enrolled in 5 classes of IM Elementary School in Iksan City, Jeonbuk Province. The writer gave dance lesson to the elementary school as art instructor appointed by Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. The findings of this study could be summed up as follows: First, it was found that improvisation dance (before and after the class) showed significant difference in all sub-factors of sixth graders' sociality and in the sub-factors of companionship like satisfaction, communication, trust worthiness, sensitiveness, openness and understand ability but insignificant difference in sense of affection. The improvisation dance turned out to influence satisfaction with school life with overall significant difference. Second, the analysis of correlation among sociality, companionship and satisfaction with school life of before the improvisation dance class revealed that there is significant positive (+) correlation in all but school environment, cooperativeness, relation with teachers and sensitiveness. The analysis of correlation among sociality, companionship and satisfaction with school life of after the dance class featured that there is significant positive correlation in all but trustworthiness, satisfaction, friendliness, cooperativeness, learning activities and sensitiveness. Third, the improvisation dance (before and after the class) was found to show no significant difference in sociality, companionship and satisfaction with school life by gender.
