전라남도의 산 정보와 지명에 관한 연구

본 연구는 국가기본도의 산 정보를 기준으로 전라남도의 산 정보와 산 지명의 형성정보 도출을 목적으로 하며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전라남도의 ‘산’은 2,147개이며 해남군이 206개로 가장 많고, 동일 지명은 안산이45개로 가장 많다. 둘째, 고도는 노고산이 1,502.9m로 가장 높고, 1,000m 이상은 11개이며, 평균 고도는 구례군이677.9m로 가장 높다. 셋째, 자연지명은 1,276개(59.4%)이며, 지형은 438개로 산 379개 중 288개에 산지명소가 중복되어 나타나고, 지세는 361개로 대소 117개, 고저 87개, 지세 102개, 절벽 28개, 곶 14개, 분기 13개이다. 위치는205개이고 이중 숫자가 66개로 매우 많고, 동⋅식물은 178개로 동물(143개)이 식물(35개)보다 많고, 지질 85개, 기후 9개이다. 넷째, 인문지명은 791개(36.8%)이며, 염원은 375개로 신앙 155개, 희망 110개, 풍수 110개이다. 산업은143개로 도구 121개, 순수산업 22개이고, 인물은 111개이고 이중 여인이 29개로 가장 많다. 주거는 84개이고 이중마을이 33개로 가장 많고, 시설물은 78개이고 이중 성이 35개로 가장 많다. 본 연구는 전라남도를 대상으로 한 국내최초의 산 정보와 지명에 관한 연구로서의 의미가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to derive mountain information in Jeollanam-do and information on the formation of mountain names based on the information of mountains in national base map, and the results of this study are as follows. First, there are 2,147 mountains in Jeollanam-do and Haenam-gun has the largest number with 206, and Ansan has the largest number of same place names with 45. Secondly, Nogosan has the highest altitude of 1,502.9m and there are 11 over 1,000m, and the average altitude is the highest in Gurye-gun at 677.9m. Thirdly, there are 1,276(59.4%) natural place names, there are 438 landforms and mountain morphemes of toponym were duplicated in 288 out of 379 mountains, and there are 361 geographical features of 117 large and small sizes, 87 highs and lowd, 102 geographical features, 28 cliffs, 14 capes, and 13 furcations. There are 205 locations and the number is very high at 66, there are 178 animals and plants, more animals(143) than plants(35), and there are 85 geologies and 9 climates. Fourthly, there are 791(36.8%) human place names, and there are 375 wishes of 155 faiths, 110 hopes, 110 feng shui. There are 143 industries of 121 tools and 22 pure industries, and there are 111 people and women are the most common with 29. There are 84 houses of which 33 villages are the most common, and there are 78 facilities and there was the highest number of castles of 35. This study has meaning as the first study in Korea on mountain information and name of mountains in Jeollanam-do.
