국립대전현충원 6․25전쟁 전사자․전쟁영웅 선양방안에 관한 연구

현충원은 6.25전사자를 포함한 호국영령들이 잠들어 있는 곳이며, 애국정신과 호국보훈의 정신을 함양하는 핵심공간이다. 국립대전현충원은 “열린 현충원, 밝은 현충원”이라는 슬로건 아래 많은 노력을 경주하여 지대한 성과를 거두고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본고에서는 6.25전사자 및 전쟁영웅을 선양하기 위해 더 많은 국민이 찾아올 수 있도록 6.25전사자의 추모공원 추가 조성과 초급간부 임관식을 국립대전현충원에서 거행하는 방안과 국립대전현충원의 잘 조성된 환경과 국토 중앙에 위치한 지리적 이점을 살려 열린 문화공간으로 활용하는 방안, 현충원에 안장된 각 개인의 전쟁영웅기를 제작 선양하는 방안 등을 제시하였다. 현재까지도 잘 관리 및 운영되고 있지만 국립대전현충원은 호국영령을 안장한 보훈정책의 핵심적 공간으로써 국가적인 관심과 노력을 통해 지속적으로 발전시킴으로써 많은 국민이 찾아오게 하여 자연스럽게 호국.애국정신이 함양되도록 하여야 하겠다.
Abstract
Hyeonchungwon(National Cemetery) is the site where the fallen patriots are rest at peace including the Korean War martyrs, and it is the crucial space for encouraging patriotic spirit. Daejeon National Cemetery, with so many efforts devoted under its slogan: “Open National Cemetery, Bright National Cemetery”, is obtaining profound results. However, in this paper, taking the geographical advantage of its central location of the country and well-prepared landscaping, it is suggesting the site to be used as an open cultural space and making biography of the fallen heroes. Up to the presents, Daejeon National Cemetery is well maintained and operated. But reminding that it is a crucial place of Patriots and Veteran Affairs Policy that enshrines the souls of all the fallen patriots, Patriots and Veteran Policy should be consistently developing under national attention and efforts. As a result naturally encourage patriotism and interest to the public who visits.
