Truth and Belief in Mathematics and Theology: Theological Implications of the Projective Determinacy Axiom

Abstract
There are recent developments in set theory, the foundation of mathematics, in relation to the studies of the Axiom of Projective Determinacy which deals with a problem of infinity. We assert that these studies show mathematical truth ultimately depends on belief. In this regard, there is a common element between mathematics and theology.
