Abstract
Presently, vessels are organic assets to be managed together on land away from independent structures in the sea. In addition, development and research on marine systems technology are actively under way. Typically there exists a smart ship, which is cited as the ship technology responsible for future use along with economic ship routing and unmanned ship concepts. The original telecom system was a communication tool for distance communication. However, recently, telecom systems include all systems related to data and information. A vessel’s core technologies, such as remote management, accident prevention, and security can be developed based on telecom systems. However, owing of institutional and economic constraints, telecom systems are not standardized. Vessels are installed with various cables for interface of telecom systems, and this installation is complicated. In this situation, the new vessel technology increases the design costs, maintenance costs, and weight of the vessel. This paper proposes a method to design integrated interfaces based on TMS for telecom systems which is the basis of vessel technology.
