노래에서 가사와 음악은 충돌한다. 딘디아의 《올림피아의 라멘토》경우처럼 작곡자가 작사자를 겸할 경우도 마찬가지이다. 오히려 딘디아는 이러한 충돌을 통해 가사의 내용을 ‘표현’하려고 노력했다. 딘디아의 음악은 세 가지 방식으로 자기 스스로의 시를 배신한다. 첫 번째는 ‘음절수의 해체’이고 두 번째는 ‘월행구조의 해체’ 그리고 마지막으로는 ‘종결의 불일치’이다. 이러한 방법을 통하여 딘디아의 《올림피아의 라멘토》는 언어의 형식에서 음악의 표현으로의, 텍스트에서 퍼포먼스로의, 그리고 문자성에서 구술성으로서의 이동을 보여준다. 그리고 이러한 이동은 17세기 초, 레치타티보 라멘트가 갖는 독특한 역사성을 드러낸다.
Abstract
Words and music conflict in songs. Even in the case that the composer wrote the lyrics for his music as in D’India’s Lamento d’Olimpia. Rather D’India made use of the conflict to ‘expressing’ the content of words. D’India’s music betrays his words in three aspects; ‘crossing out the versification,’ ‘deconstruct the enjambment structure,’ and ‘the mislocating the musical ending’ to the text. With these means, D’India’s Lament d’Olimpia reveals the shift from lyric’s form to music’s expression, from text to performance, and from literacy to aurality reflecting the historicity of the early 17th-century.
