이 연구는 19대 총선 기간에 트위터스피어(twitter-sphere)에서 발생한 트윗 트래픽과 노드들 간의 관계를 중심으로 액티비스트 집단의 사회적 분포, 연결망 구조 및 이슈파급(issue rippling) 영향력을 고찰한다. 구체적으로 이 연구는 다음의 세 측면을 논의하는데 초점을 맞춘다. 우선 액티비스트 집단의 이념적 분포와 인구사회학적 특성을 구명한다. 다음으로 액티비스트 집단의 사회연결망 구조를 고찰한다. 마지막으로 액티비스트 집단의 이슈파급 효과와 선거트윗 메시지 내용을 고찰한다. 이 연구를 통해 근래의 소셜네트워크 징치실험 속에서 액티비스트 집단의 실체적 특성과 영향력에 대한 이해를 돋울 수 있으리라 기대한다.
Abstract
This research intends to analyze the social distribution, networking structure and issue rippling effect of activist group on the twitter-sphere utilizing data set of tweet traffic and nodes relationship. Especially this research focuses on the followings. First, I explore the ideological distribution and characteristics of sociology of population of the activist group. Second, I investigate the characteristics of social networking structure among the activist group. Finally, I contemplate the issue rippling effect and electoral tweet contents. On the basis of in this analysis, Iexpect to improve understanding about power of activist on the twitter-sphere.
