정보교육 활성화를 위한 교사 의견 조사

현재 사회가 고도화됨에 따라 교육을 비롯한 많은 영역에서 정보의 중요성이 높아지며, 이러한 상황에서 교육 역시 그 필요성이 주목받고 있다. 따라서 2015 개정 교육과정에서 정보교육이 기초 교육 내용과 필수과목, 선택과목으로 개편되어 많은 기회가 늘어났으며, 2022 개정 교육과정에서는 디지털 소양이 학습 기반으로 반영됨과 동시에 정보교육 시수가 더욱 확대될 예정이다. 정보교육을 활성화하기 위해 본 논문에서는 교사를 대상으로 설문을 시행하였으며, 교사 군을 성별, 교육경력, 학교급, 지역으로 나누어 설문을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 현재 정보교육의 시간이 적절하지 않으며, 현재보다 시간을 더욱 늘려야 한다는 점과 정보교육의 수준과 교재 역시 수정할 부분이 많다는 의견을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 정보교육 시수 확보, 양질의 교육과정과 소프트웨어 보급, 수준에 맞는 온라인‧오프라인 연수, 학생의 흥미와 이해를 끌어낼 수 있는 교재, 대학에서의 정보교육 강의, 실습 도구 개선과 같은 여섯 가지 제안을 하였다. 본 논문을 통해 정리된 교사 의견 조사 및 제안은 향후 정보교육 교육과정 구성 및 활성화 하는 데 있어 더욱 심화·보완하는 계기가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
Abstract
As society has become more sophisticated today, information is becoming more important in many areas, including education. Against this backdrop, the need for information education is drawing attention. Therefore, in the revised curriculum of Korea 2015, information education has been reorganized into basic education contents, essential subjects, and elective subjects, and many opportunities have increased. In the revised 2022 curriculum, digital education will be reflected as a learning foundation and the number of hours of information education will be expanded further. In order to revitalize information education, this paper conducted a survey of teachers. The survey was conducted by dividing teachers into gender, educational background, school level, and region. As a result, it was confirmed that the current information education time is not appropriate, and that there are many things to revise the level of information education and teaching materials. Through this, six suggestions were made: securing hours for information education, disseminating quality curricula and software, online and offline training, teaching materials that can elicit students' interest and understanding, lectures on information education at universities, and improvement of practical tools.
