본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 공감능력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 공감능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하기 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 실시하였다. 자료 수집은 전북 지역 소재 대학에 재학 중인 치위생과 학생 198명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. SPSS version 19.0을 사용하여 기술통계, T-test, Anova, 상관분석 그리고 위계적 회귀분석으로 분석 처리하였다. 그 결과, 이타행동의 하위요인 중 공감적 이타행동(β=.315), 정서인식명확성(β=.210), 즉각적 이타행동(β=.206)의 순으로 공감능력에 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과를 근거로 치위생과 학생의 공감능력 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제시하였고, 후속 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to identify the factors that affect the empathy ability of dental hygiene students and to provide them with basic data to explore ways to improve empathy ability. The participants in the study were 198. Data analysis was carried out T-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis by using SPSS version 19.0. The order of factors that affect the empathy ability from the most to the least was empathic ability(β=.315) and emotional clarity(β=.210), altruistic behavior(β=.206). Based on the results of this research, we presented basic data useful for developing programmes for dental hygiene student’s empathy, and proposed the necessity of follow-up research.
