이 논문은 1980년대 부산지역의 사보 발간이 활성화될 수 있었던 동력을 경제적 요인이 아니라 부산사보편집자회를 중심으로 한 인적 네트워크 역량과 문학적 역량에서 찾고자 했으며, 이를 위해 부산의 기업 사보가 대중지성 형성의 미디어로 기능할 수 있었던 문화적 동력과 문학의 역할을 고찰하였다. 부산사보편집자회의 결성과 창립은 사보 편집자의 전문성과 문화적 역량을 강화하는 계기로 작용하였으며, 이는 부산지역의 사보가 시민/대중의 문화적 매체로서의 자리매김하는 데 큰 역할을 했다. 이와 같은 문화적 동력을 바탕으로 1980년대 부산지역의 사보는 양적, 질적으로 성장하고 혁신할 수 있었는데, 여기에는 문학이 중요한 역할을 담당하였다. 논의 결과를 정리하면, 첫째, 사보의 유형에 따른 독자층의 특징을 파악할 수 있었으며, 사보 문학란이 독자들에게 인기 있는 코너이자 장르임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 부산지역의 사보는 대부분 사내보 형식으로 제작되고 있었으며 노동자가 핵심 독자층이었다. 부산사보편집자회에서는 건강한 기업문화를 만들기 위해 문학의 역할을 강조하며, 부산지역 근로자문예대상을 제정하며 시행하였다. 셋째, 사외보의 경우 일반 시민/대중의 문학에 대한 욕구, 표현 의지를 해소할 수 있는 매개 공간 역할을 하였다. 부산의 대표적인 사외보 『미화당』을 분석한 결과, 사보를 매개로 한 문학 창작과 향유 활동이 지역사회의 시민/대중을 연결하는 문화적 장의 역할을 하고 있었음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This paper sought to find the driving force behind the activation of industrial publications in the Busan area in the 1980s not in economic factors but in the human network capacity and literary capacity centered around the Busan Industrial Publications Editors Association. To this end, we examined the cultural dynamics and the role of literature that enabled Busan's corporate industrial publications to function as a media for forming public intelligence. The formation and establishment of the Busan Industrial Publication Editors' Association served as an opportunity to strengthen the professionalism and cultural capabilities of industrial publication editors. This played a major role in establishing industrial publications in the Busan region as a cultural medium for citizens and the public. Based on this cultural dynamic, industrial publications in the Busan area in the 1980s were able to grow and innovate both quantitatively and qualitatively, and literature played an important role in this. The results of the discussion are summarized as follows. First, we were able to identify the characteristics of the readership according to the type of industrial publication, and confirm that the literary section of industrial publications is a popular corner and genre among readers. Second, most industrial publications in the Busan area were produced in the form of in-house magazines, and workers were the core readers. The Busan Industrial Publications Editors Association emphasized the role of literature in creating a healthy corporate culture and established and implemented the Busan Workers’ Literature Award. Third, in the case of the external newspaper, it served as a mediating space that could resolve the desire for literature and the will to express it among the general public/public. As a result of analyzing Busan's representative external newspaper, 『Mihwadang』, it was found that literary creation and enjoyment activities mediated by industrial publications were serving as a cultural space that connected citizens/public in the local community.
