초록

The purpose of this study was to summarize information on the principle of magnetization transfer andits effects on four different areas based on a literature review to provide a basis for future researchers. Based on theexisting literature, a total of 42 patients were tested in the lumbar spine, 17 in the knee, 10 in the brain, and finally 20 inthe head and neck. The equipment used was from Simens, Philips, and GE. The values of the magnetization transitionratio based on the magnetization transition effect varied depending on the macromolecular content in the tissues suchas the lumbar spine, knee, brain, and head and neck, resulting in differences in magnetization transition ratio not onlybetween normal tissues and lesions, but also between different regions within the lesion. In conclusion, the differencesin magnetization transition ratio using features that vary depending on the macromolecular content in the tissues canbe used to distinguish between malignant and benign tumors. This is an important technique that can improve theaccuracy of diagnosis and better identify various lesions in MRI, and more research is needed in the future.
