사물인터넷에서 사용되고 있는 WWAN 무선통신 네트워크의 대표적인 기술이 LoRa 통신기술이며 LoRa 통신은 ISM 대역을이용한다. 국내 LoRa 주파수로 사용되고 있는 920 MHz(920.9 MHz~923.3 MHz) 주파수 대역은 유럽과 미국에서 사용하는 주파수 대와 상이하여 시판되고 있는 LoRa 모듈을 이용하여 교육과정에서 LoRa 네트워크 실습을 수행하는데 문제가 있었으나 RF주파수를 프로그램으로 변경 가능한 RYLR896 LoRa 모듈이 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 이 모듈과 AT 커맨드를 사용하여 국내에서 지정된 주파수로 주파수 설정이 가능함을 확인하였다. 또한, 이러한 RYLR896 LoRa 모듈을 사용하여 엔드 노드와 게이트웨이로 구성된 LoRa 네트워크를 구성하여 실습을 수행하고 RYLR896 LoRa 모듈과 사물인터넷을 실습해 볼 수 있는 개발 장비가 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The representative technology of the WWAN wireless communication network used in the Internet of Things is LoRa communicationtechnology, and LoRa communication uses the ISM band. The 920 MHz (920.9 MHz~923.3 MHz) band frequency, whichis used as a domestic LoRa frequency, had a problem in performing LoRa network practice in the curriculum using a commerciallyavailable LoRa modules that have been used in Europe and the United States because of different frequency band, but a RYLR896LoRa module was developed that allowed RF frequency to be programmed. With this module, this paper confirmed that the frequencycan be set at a specified frequency in Korea using AT commands. In addition, using these RYLR896 LoRa modules, a LoRanetwork consisting of end nodes and gateways was constructed and practiced to confirm that development equipment capable ofpracticing the RYLR896 LoRa module and IoT was operating normally.
