The present study aims to investigate the changes in the make-ups and hair styles of bridegrooms as found in the photographs taken at the wedding ceremonies during 1993 to 2011, a period when bridegroom's make-ups and hair styling were practiced widely, and to provide the findings from basic cosmetic data to forecast the new changes in the trend of make-ups and hair styles of bridegrooms. From the analysis, it was evident that male make-ups until mid of 1990s looked like dressing and very unnatural but became a little bit natural, thick though, into the latter part of 1990s, and just in 2001∼2011, the trend of male make-ups became much more natural and specialized thanks to development of male-specific cosmetics. Some changes have been made in male hair styles with the length of hair braided behind the ears and the nape line of the neck being shorter or longer with the form of hair cut differently, as well as styling with C-curl being brushed backward with help of mousse. Such changes in male make-ups and hair styles resulted in more smart and tidier look of males.
