본 연구는 헤어미용 중 퍼머넌트웨이브 연구동향을 조사하기 위해 2000년부터 2014년까지 학위논문과 학술지에 게재된 논문을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 퍼머넌트웨이브 연구는 연도, 발표방식, 학위, 연구방법, 연구주제 차이분석에서 연도와 학위구분, 연구주제와 발표방식, 연구주제와 연구방법, 연구주제와 대학원에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 발표양식의 학위논문과 학술지 그리고 학위 즉석사와 박사는 각각 3시기와 4시기에 발표되었다. 연구방법은 전 시기에 실험연구가 꾸준히 진행되었고 3시기 이후에는 실험연구 이외에 다른 형태의 다양한 연구가 진행되었다. 연구주제는 2000년 전후로 퍼머넌트웨이브의 종류가 다양한 등장으로 용제와 기기가 개발되어 고객의 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있었다. 반면 모발의 손상이라는 문제점이 부각되면서연구주제가 모발손상을 최소화하고 웨이브 효율을 증진시킬수 있는 기법, 용제, 시술절차 상 다양한 접근이 시도되었다. 발표방식과 연구주제를 살펴보면 학술지에는 다양한 주제로 연구가 이루어지는 반면 학위논문에서 연구주제는 모발손상.웨이브효율, 용제.도구의 비중이 많았다. 특수대학원에서 발표한 연구주제는 다양했지만, 일반대학원의 퍼머넌트웨이브 주제는 한정되어 있었다. 연구주제와 연구방법은 모발손상.웨이브효율, 용제.도구는 실험연구로 연구가 진행된 반면, 디자인 관련 주제는 다양한 연구방법으로 연구가진행되었다. 하지만 퍼머넌트 웨이브 디자인 관련 연구는 정량화하는 실험연구가 더 필요하다. 차후 퍼머넌트웨이브 연구가 원활하게 진행되기 위해서 연구주제의 분류의 내용을세분화할 필요가 있다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 일부 연구주제로 편중되는 경향이 있어 다양한 주제의 연구방법들이 다양하게 활용되어야 한다고 본다. 본 연구를 통해 헤어미용 중 커트, 염색, 스타일링, 두피 등각 분야의 전문성을 살린 연구동향 분석은 미용학을 정립하는 데 방향제시가 될 것이며, 또한 미용교육이 미용 산업을주도하는 인재를 양성하기 위해서 미용의 기초연구, 기술교육에 바탕이 될 것이다. 퍼머넌트 웨이브 관련 학위논문과 학술지를 검색하면서‘펌’, ‘퍼머넌트’, ‘퍼머넌트 웨이브’라는 검색어가의 논문으로 한정했다는 점이다. 그 결과 실제 연구 대상임에도 논문제목에 ‘펌’이나 ‘퍼머넌트’, ‘퍼머넌트 웨이브’라는 단어가들어가지 않은 경우 분석에서 제외되었다. 따라서 차후 연구에는 관련 검색어를 보다 확대하여 적용할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study involved the analysis of a total of 152 academic papers describing research relating to permanent wavingthat were published from 2000 to 2014 and that are stored in the archive of the National Assembly Library and researchinformation sharing service (RISS). The study was performed according to the analysis standard in order to establish theacademic research trends of those who major and specialize in the field of hairdressing and to determine the direction inwhich academic research is developing in the beauty science sector. This was achieved by analyzing an analysis standardand contents data by using SPSS Statistics v.18.0 running on Windows. The frequencies were determined and a chi-squaretest was performed to determine the statistical differences between the variables. According to the analysis, there was asignificant difference between the period and the academic degree, the published paper and the research subject, and alsobetween the published paper, the graduate school, and the research subject, as well as the research subject and the researchmethod. In terms of the qualitative development of hairdressing within the field of beauty science, it appears that integratedstudies should be performed based on diverse analysis methods and using a new approach in connection with othersectors.
