뷰티 전공 대학생들의 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로준비행동의 구조적 관계

본 연구는 뷰티전공 대학생들을 대상으로 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로준비행동의 구조적 관계를 분석하여뷰티전공 대학생들의 효율적인 진로준비행동을 위한 시사점을제안하고자 하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 사회적 지지는 진로결정 자기효능감에 통계적으로 유의한 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지와 진로준비행동의 관계를 규명한 결과, 사회적 지지는 진로준비행동에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 진로결정 자기효능감과진로준비행동의 관계를 규명한 결과, 진로결정 자기효능감은진로준비행동에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로나타났다. 이상의 결과에 기초할 때, 대학생들의 진로준비행동을 높이기 위해서는 가족이나 의미 있는 타인으로부터의 사회적 지지를 높이되, 그 양이나 규모가 아니라 실제로 대학생들이 사회적지지를 지각할 수 있도록 세심한 접근이 필요하며, 이를 통해대학생들이 자신의 능력이나 가치, 욕구 등을 정확히 파악하여진로결정 자기효능감을 높일 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요할 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구의 한계를 제시하면, 본 연구의 표본이 서울과 경기지역에 국한되었다는 점에서 연구결과의 일반화가 제한적이며, 본 연구결과의 해석에 있어서 유의할 필요가 있다. 그러므로 후속연구에서는 표본을 보다 확대하여 사회적 지지와 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로준비행동의 관계를 추가로 규명할 필요가있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior of college students majoring in cosmetology. Results show that social support had a significantly positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy. Career decision-making self-efficacy perceived by college students majoring in cosmetology had a significantly positive effect on career preparation behavior. Social support perceived by college students majoring in cosmetology did not have a significant effect on career preparation behavior.
