초록

In modern society, the proportion of the elderly population is gradually increasing. A decrease in fertility rates and an increase in life expectancy due to the developments of modern medicine and technology are leading variables contributing to this increase in the aged population. Accordingly, as societal interest in the elderly increases, marketing strategies geared towards the elderly are also increasing. In academia, active research into the detailed classification of the elderly is being conducted. However, various studies on elderly lifestyles are still lacking. In this respect, this study conducted a total of 253 surveys to investigate the effect of lifestyle of the newly senior on appearance and scalp and hair management perception. SPSS was used to analyze the collected research data. This study determined that the lifestyle of the new senior has a positive (+) correlation to interest in appearance. Thefirsthypothesis (H1) was adopted in the order of health-oriented, relationship-oriented, and economic-oriented. Second, the lifestyle of the new senior will have a positive (+) effect on the recognition of scalp hair management. The second hypothesis (H2) was partially adopted in the order of relationship-oriented and economic-oriented. Lifestyle type of the new senior clearly acts as an important variable in maintaining appearance interest as well as scalp and hair management perception. Through this, it is necessary to establish a beauty education and service program tailored to new seniors, so that they can continuously develop and maintain interest in their appearance as well as scalp and hair management perception in beauty market advertising targeting these new seniors
