지역축제 실행단계에서 이해집단 간 갈등관리가 축제성과에 미치는 영향분석

초록

본 연구는 지역축제가 진정한 가치를 찾고 성공을 거두기 위한 조건의 하나로 이해집단 간 갈등관리의 중요성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 축제가 실행되는 단계에서 이해집단 간 갈등관리가 축제성과를 향상시킬 수 있는지에 대한 실증적 연구를 수행하였다. 분석결과를 보면 첫째, 갈등관리와 축제성과와의 영향관계를 입증하였고 지역축제에서 나타나는 갈등원인과 갈등수준을 파악하였다. 둘째, 지역축제 이해집단 간에 갈등은 존재하였으며, 주요 이해집단으로 지방정부와 지역사회단체간의 갈등이 파악되었다. 셋째, 갈등관리방법은 축제성과와 깊은 관련성이 있었다, 그 중 타협이 이상적인 방법으로 제시되었으나 협조는 축제성과에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이는 현재 지역축제에서 이해집단 간 협력적 네트워크가 제대로 구축되어 있지 않음을 보여주는 결과로 해석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 지역축제에서 갈등관리의 중요성뿐만 아니라 현 지역축제의 문제점까지 도출해 내었으며, 이는 지역축제 갈등관리와 관련하여 유용한 정보로서 제공될 것으로 기대한다.

Abstract

This study explres in order for a local festival to find its true values and to be successful it is an important task to manage conflicts among the stakeholders in the Implementation and this raises the necessity of research on how conflict management can enhance festival performance. Based on the analyses of survey First, we proved the effect relation between conflict management and festival performance, and examined the causes of conflict and the level of conflict. Second, we found that there were conflicts among local festival stakeholders, and major conflicting stakeholders were the local government and local civil organizations. Third, the conflict management method was closely associated with festival performance and compromise was suggested as an ideal means, but cooperation had a negative effect on festival performance. This shows lack of cooperative networks among local festival stakeholders. Through empirical analysis, we derived not only the importance of conflict management in local festivals but also problems in current local festivals, it is expected to provide useful information on conflict management in local festivals.
