四佳 徐居正의 <次韻祁戶部大平館登樓賦>의 서술양상과 지향의식

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the narrative aspect and intentional consciousness of Saga Seo Geojeong's Having a loan of meter of the poetical prose of the climb to the pavilion of Taepyeonggwan. The reason he created this work is, first of all, to show for the first time in Korea the works of other authors from abroad. Secondly, he created this work in order to show off his writing skills. Thirdly, he wrote the work as a part of his diplomatic mission. As for the narrative aspect of this work, it should be noted first that it takes the form of an early poetical prose. Second, the grammar and rhyme of the conclusion followed the old fashion style of Cho Sa in his essays on Woan You. Third, the number of characters in each phrase consisted of 7 to 15 characters, starting with 3 to 7 characters before, and then the same number of characters after the character Hye(兮). Fourth, the difference between this work and the other works is the way in which the rhyme is employed. Fifth, in this work, there is substantial citation of the previous works. Sixth in this work, there is a question-and-answer format, but there is almost no dialogue, while on the other hand, almost all of the previous works were done in a completely opposite way. The consciousness of intention shown in Saga's work is oriented in the first place in the world of enlightenment and civilization. Second, it is a universal world reached through mutual communication. Third, it a world of positive thinking and broad-mindedness. Finally, it is the realization of a morally ideal world achieved through virtue.
