본 연구의 목적은 치매노인을 위한 그룹홈인 노인요양공동생활가정의 건축적 특성을 파악하여 문제점 및 개선방향을 모색하고, 노인요양공동생활가정 계획에 기초가 되는 지침을 제공하는 것이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2008년 노인장기요양보험의 도입으로 저렴한 비용과 주택과 같은 분위기를 가진 노인요양공동생활가정에 대한 수요와 공급에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 노인요양공동생활가정의 실태를 조사한 결과 침실면적의 부족, 수납공간의 부족, 서비스제공자를 위한 공간부족 등의 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 물리적 환경 중 중요하게 생각하는 지표에 대한 AHP분석에서는 건물외부보다는 건물내부가 중요하며, 내부공간 중 프로그램공간(0.138), 이동공간(0.131),욕실(0.127), 화장실(0.125)의 순으로 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to examine the architectural characteristics and problems ofthe group-homes for the elderly with dementia and to propose the design guide-line for them. Theresults of this study are as follows; First, With the introduction of long term care insurance in2008, the increase of the demand and supply to group-home will be expected, due to less cost forrecuperation. The care for the elderly in homelike atmosphere is effective to the elderly withdementia. But the present living environments of group-homes for the elderly with dementia leavemuch room for improvement, for examples, enough area of room, enough storage space, enoughspace for care-givers. Second, in Physical Environment Index using AHP, building interior wasrelatively estimated more important than building exterior and the relative importance of buildinginterior elements was estimated in order of importance as follows: program room(0.138), movingspace(0.131), bathroom(0.127), toilet(0.125).
