염소이온 침투는 철근의 부식을 유발시켜 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성에 치명적인 손실을 줄 수 있다. 염소이온의 침투를 억제하기 위한 방안이 강구되어야 하며, 한 가지 방안으로 시멘트의 일부를 혼화재료로 대체하여 사용하는 것에 대한 연구가 이루어져 오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시멘트의 일부를 메타카올린과 실리카퓸으로 대체하여 사용한 콘크리트의 염분침투 특성을 해석적인 접근에 의해 규명하였다. 메타카올린과 실리카퓸의 대체량이 증가할수록 내구수명이 증가하였으며, 내구수명의 증진에는 실리카퓸보다 메타카올린이 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The reduction of service life of concrete structures could be caused by corrosion of reinforcing steel induced by penetration of chloride ion into concrete. Many studies have been carried out to control the penetration of chloride ion into concrete. One of the method is using the admixture instead of portland cement. In this study, the influence of the meta kaolin and silica fume on the chloride diffusion was investigated by analytical approach. With the increase of the meta kaolin and silica fume, the service life of concrete structures rose. The meta kaolin was more effective than the silica fume at increase of service life.
