초록

The article deals with the semantic structure and speech form of Siberia topos presented in the fiction and fiction-publicistic texts of the leading prose-writers of the second half of the last century. The empiric basis of the research includes Valentin Rasputin’s book of essays Sibir’, Sibir’ (Siberia, Siberia) translated into many languages, stories by Leonid Borodin and Vil’ Lipatov. The authors of the article conclude that the texts selected for the mythopoetic analysis contain artistic techniques actualized by V. Rasputin, their aim is to overcome the image of Siberia created in the previous epochs (primarily in the 19th century and just before the end of the Stalin’s epoch). Crowned with numerous awards V. Lipatov creates a myth that this unique space can preserve the essence and rhythm of the national life, but it is already the myth of the past. The prose-writer and dissident L. Borodin anthropomorphizes the topos of Siberia. As a result, he manages to fix and convey the tragic logic of the Russian character evolution manifested, on the one hand, in destroying its link with the history (Obolenskii’s tragedy) and, on the other hand, in rejecting ontological foundations of the national existence (Riabinin’s fate). Modern Siberian writers (R. Senchin, M. Tarkovskii) believe that the artistic research of the unique natural, historical and social pace gives the opportunity “to find the key to unlock the wild yonder, both celestial and human”.

Abstract

Senchin, M.
