체계적 문헌분석을 통한 학교 운동부 지도자의 경험 및 인식 탐색

Exploring the experiences and perceptions of school athletic leaders through a systematic literature review

초록

본 연구는 학교 운동부 지도자 즉, 감독교사, 코치가 운동부를 운영하면서 겪는 경험을 통해 형성된 학교 운동부의 긍정적‧부정적 인식을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 체계적 문헌 분석 방법을 활용하여 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문을 수집하여 의미를 분석하였다. 연구 논문 선정을 위해 PRISMA flowchart 따라 최종 24편의 논문을 선정하였으며, 이를 Bronfenbrenner(1979)의 생물생태학 이론을 분석틀로 하여 감독교사와 코치의 운동부 운영에 대한 경험과 인식을 개인적 차원과 미시‧중간‧외부‧거시체계의 환경적 차원으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 운동부 지도자의 개인적 차원인 가치신념, 지도능력, 자발성 등을 통해 긍정적, 부정적 인식 이 나타나고 있었으며, 환경적 차원으로는 관계형성 및 역할분담, 보상체계 및 체육계 문화, 역할갈등과 관계형성, 행정체계 및 신분적 한계, 워라벨 문화와 운동부를 향한 시선에 따라 서로 다른 경험과 인식을 나타내고 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로 학교 운동부 발전을 위해 운동부 지도자들이 다양한 주체들과 긍정적인 관계를 맺기 위한 방법과 지도자가 운동부 지도를 효과적으로 운영하기 위해 요구되는 전문성 개발에 대한 방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the positive and negative perceptions of school athletic departments formed through the experiences of school athletic department leaders (supervisors and coaches), in their management of athletic departments. For this purpose, articles published in Korean journals were collected and analyzed with a systematic literature review method. The final 24 articles were selected according to the PRISMA flowchart to analyze the experiences and perceptions of supervisors and coaches in the management of athletic departments. This study divided them into personal dimensions and environmental dimensions of micro, meso, external and macro systems using Bronfenbrennerʼs (1979) bioecological theory as an theoretical framework. Positive and negative perceptions of athletic department leadersʼ personal dimensions, such as value beliefs, leadership ability, and voluntarism, and environmental dimensions, such as relationship and role division, compensation system and athletic culture, role conflict and relationship formation, administrative system and status limitations, and warbler culture and view of athletic departments, showed different experiences and perceptions. Based on the findings, we discussed how athletic department leaders can build positive relationships with various agents for the development of school athletic departments and the professional development needs of athletic department leaders to effectively manage athletic departments.
