도시형 소공인의 경쟁력 강화 매커니즘: 흡수 역량, 진취성, 자율성의 상호작용을 중심으로

본 연구는 디지털 전환과 기술혁신 시대에 도시형 소공인의 흡수 역량과 경영 성과 간의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하고, 기업가적 특성인 진취성과 자율성의 조절 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 2023년 9월 25일부터 10월 9일까지 서울특별시 신도림동과 문래동 일대의 도시형 소공인을 대상으로 현장 방문 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 유효한 104개의 설문지를 연구 자료로 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 흡수 역량은 경영 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치지만, 진취성과 자율성은 독립적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 흡수 역량과 진취성의 상호작용은 경영 성과에 부정적 영향을 미쳐, 진취성이 높을수록 흡수 역량의 긍정적 효과가 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 도시형 소공인의 경영 성과에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로서 흡수 역량, 진취성, 자율성을 실증적으로 분석함으로써, 도시형 소공인의 특수성을 고려한 연구의 필요성을 강조하였다. 실무적 시사점으로는 소공인의 혁신역량 강화를 위해 체계적인 교육과 훈련 프로그램의 도입, 균형 잡힌 진취성 접근, 적절한 자율성 부여, 맞춤형 지원 정책 개발 등이 필요함을 제안한다.
Abstract
This study empirically analyzes the relationship between absorptive capacity and business performance in urban micro-manufacturing firms in the era of digital transformation and technological innovation, as well as examining the moderating effects of entrepreneurial traits such as proactiveness and autonomy. An on-site survey was conducted with urban micro-manufacturing firms located in Sindorim-dong and Mullae-dong, Seou From September 25 to October 9, 2023. A total of 104 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis. The analysis revealed that absorptive capacity positively impacts business performance, whereas proactiveness and autonomy do not independently have significant effects. Notably, the interaction between absorptive capacity and proactiveness negatively influences business performance, thus indicating that higher levels of proactiveness reduce the positive effect of absorptive capacity. Our findings underscore the importance of absorptive capacity, proactiveness, and autonomy as key factors influencing the business performance of urban micro-manufacturing firms, ultimately highlighting the need for research that considers the unique characteristics of these enterprises. Practical implications suggest the necessity for systematic education and training programs to enhance innovation capabilities, balanced approaches to proactiveness, appropriate allocation of autonomy, and the development of tailored support policies.
