On the intervention effect in Korean wh-questions

Abstract
In this paper, I will argue that Korean wh-words undergo focus movement at LF. The robust evidence for the argument is that Korean wh-words without focus block the focus movement. Although wh-words and indefinites manifest distinct interpretations and syntactic distributions it turns out that they are the same syntactic objects and that the difference between them is from a focus feature which includes focus movement of wh-words.
