무브먼트를 활용한 타이포그래피의 시각 표현 연구

Abstract

This study is in regard to condition of psychological movement in two-dimensional plane visual area. In other words, movement is able to be divided into physical movement and psychological movement. This study will go forward assuming the study on condition of psychological movement caused by time difference of visual and perceptual cognition in the screen stopped that physical movement which is changed depending on the actual passage of time is excluded. Also in case of expressional genre, this study aims to research expressional diversity of ‘moving typography on two-dimensional plane’ which psychological movement and Type are combined. The design meaning of Movement is being used as the expression of all movements to perceptual response which appears when energy stimulates the retina of the eye as op art. Currently, due to the development of state of the art imaging technology, the expression of movement using various images has great influence culturally, socially, economically and has been becoming one of the Trend representing contemporary society. Especially, in case of ‘moving typography’ which movement and typo are combined, many images are being produced through the broadcast and communication media every year, and ‘moving typography’ is emerging as the core image language which is leading the digital era. On the contrary, the study on the expression of ‘moving typography’ on the plane stopped which had been conducted actively in the past seems to decline with the development of media, and this result has caused the limit of the expression in respect of images as well. Thus, to overcome these problems, the continuous study and development of the system of the independent theory of ‘moving typography’ on two- dimensional plane are needed. This study analyzed the cause and functional main factor of psychological movement in visual perception targeting two- dimensional plane design area which is the foundation of all designs. Also the results were examined by combining with Typo focusing on the multilateral ways to use including design elements, figurative elements, emotional elements, rational elements, etc.
