초록

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the mediating effect of character strength in the influence of Tourism Related Student’s Career Barrier on Career Adaptability. Data was collected from 238 Tourism Related Students in Busan. The results were analyzed and interpreted using multiple–regression analysis. First, Career barrier was negatively correlated with Character Strength and Career Adaptability. Second, sub-factors of career barrier which were indecisive personality, and the lack of self clarification, had significantly effected on career adaptability. Third, sub-factors of career barrier which were indecisive personality, and the lack of self clarification had significantly effected on character strength. Fourth, sub-factors of character strength which were wisdom, courageousness and integrity had significantly effected on career adaptability. Finally Character strength moderated partially on the relation between career barrier and career adaptability. Limitations of current study and suggestions for future investigations are included in the discussion

Abstract
