A Study of Residents's Perception toward Tourism Development and Corporate Social Responsibility in Jeju

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to suggest appropriate directions for desirable tourism development through the investigation of the local resident's perception of tourism impact and corporate social responsibility in Jeju. To accomplish the study object, theoretical reviews and empirical analysis were jointly carried out. For the empirical analysis, a survey was conducted for from Oct. 10 to 26 in 2016 and total 203 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. In the statistical analysis, frequent analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis were used. Residents in perception about tourism impact were influenced by the corporate social responsibility in Integrated Resort Development. Research hypotheses focus on testing the impact of integrated resort social responsibility recognition. The results report that the three factors including economic factor, social cultural factor, resident's cost factor significantly decide the level of residents recognition toward integrated resort social responsibility. The limitation for this study as follows. Firstly, this study examined fragmentarily attitude of tourism development. Secondly, the research scope of the study subject confirmed to residents in Jeju.
