Abstract
In 2010, soil analysis was conducted to understand the physical characterisics of the soil near the active weak zones in landcreeparea that occurred in jayeon-ri, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. In the mountainous areas of Korea, the topsoil layer above the bedrockis not thick, so if rainfall continues, the water is intensively saturated on the slope and is likely to slide gradually downward. Due tothe rapidly changing climate, torrential rain frequently occurs, and interest and alarm about mountainous soil disasters are increasing. This study was conducted to suggest the necessity of a preemptive response to the land forest by grasping the physical characteristicsof the landcreep, which is one of the mountainous soil disasters. The average slope of the landcreep was 10.2°, which occurred in aterrain with a gentle slope. After analyzing the upper and lower areas of the active weak zones in landcreep with cracks and steps wereanalyzed and compared scientifically. As a result of determining the soil shape by using the soil trigonometric map, it was analyzedas mass soil, clay sand soil, and sand soil, and in terms of soil hardness, it was analyzed as an average of 18.74 kgf/cm2 for the uppersurface of the landcreep and an average of 21.51 kgf/cm2 for the lower surface. It is judged that the result was that the hardness wasformed low due to disturbance of the boronic soil of the upper surface of the landcreep, and it was collapsed by the steps and the slopwas collapesd. In particular, since the lower areas affected by tensile cracks and steps have high hardness and deep soil depth, it isvulnerable to ground pushing, it is necessary to prepare measures for the activity weak zone where steps and tensile cracks have occurred.
