한 초등체육 전문지도자가 경험한 초등체육의 단상

본 연구는 초등체육전문지도자의 현실을 보다 근거리에서 보여주고 그것을 통해 현장에 존재하는 구조적 문제에 대해 논의의 기회를 제공하는 것이 목적이다. 따라서 자문화기술지를 통해 중초교사와 스포츠강사, 방과 후 강사를 경험한 연구자의 삶을 탐색적으로 살펴보았고, 이를 ‘초대 받지 않은 손님’과 ‘우리는 을(乙)인가?’로 정리하였다. 보다 자세히, 중초교사, 스포츠강사, 방과 후 강사를 거치며 이방인이자 을의 입장에서 경험을 살펴보았는데, 그것은 연구자뿐만 아니라 주변 동료들 모두에게 해당되는 얘기였다. 중초교사, 스포츠강사, 방과 후 강사와 교사 간의 보이지 않는 벽이 존재함을 발견하였고, 그 중에서도 스포츠강사와 방과 후 강사와 같은 초등체육 전문지도자의 경우에 1년마다 계약하는 비정규직의 위치가 그들을 ‘을’로 만드는 주요한 환경임을 알 수 있었다. 결국, 연구자의 경험은 스포츠강사 또는 방과 후 강사들이 초등체육의 과도기적 변화가 야기한 모순을 몸소 받아내고 있었다는 사실을 여실히 보여주었고, 그것이 현재의 비정규직의 구조에서 비롯되었음을 보여주었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to show the reality of elementary sports expert leaders from a close distance and thereby provide an opportunity to discuss the structural problems existing in the field. Therefore, the lives of the researchers who have worked as middle and elementary school teachers, sports instructors, and after-school instructors have been examined through auto-ethnography, and the results have been summarized as either 'uninvited guests' and 'are we are subordinates?'. Specifically, the experiences of middle and elementary school teachers, sports instructors, and after-school instructors have been studied from the perspective of an outsider as well as a subordinate, and this was found out to be true for not only the researcher but also for colleagues. Invisible walls existed between middle and elementary school teachers, sports instructors, and after-school instructors and teachers, and among them, professional elementary physical education instructors such as sports instructors and after-school instructors were in a position of temporary workers who makes contract based on a one-year term, and these conditions made them vulnerable to being regarded as a subordinated status. In the end, the researcher's experience showed that sports instructors or after-school instructors were personally accepting the contradictions caused by the transitional changes in elementary sports and showed that it stems from the current structure being dependent on temporary works.
