초록

The cruise industry is connected to many industries, including shipbuilding, ports, docks, passenger terminals and ship supplies. The role of cruise tourism in creating profits and revitalizing the local economy is very important. In Korea, however, the environment for the surplus of the tourism balance through cruise tourism is still incomplete. To do this, the government's policies should be aligned with the government's five marine cruise ports, as well as the marine leisure tourism policy of the municipality that has the sea within the overall tourism industry framework. Therefore, this study made policy suggestions for the development of cruise tourism, focusing on the tourism policy of the government. Based on these policy suggestions, strategies for the development of cruise tourism in Korea should be very diverse and active. First of all, we need a strategy for accessibility that meets the mother port, quarantine port, and port. In terms of marketing, it is necessary to attract local cruise headquarters of global cruise carriers or to have aggressive marketing, local governments, and port organizations for Chinese and Japanese travel agencies. In Korea, where the location of cruise tourism is limited, it is necessary to plan and prepare a large themed cruise product such as Peace Cruise. In addition, there is a need to attract and expand the highly thematic charter cruise around the Korean Wave, which has become famous all over the world. To this end, it is necessary to provide policy support for marine leisure facilities, islands, and other marine leisure tourism based on coastal cruises (product development, coastal cruise forwarding, etc.), and to develop products linked with them. In particular, it is necessary to develop products that link local airports for Fly & Cruise. The development of products through connection with world cultural heritages, festivals, and cultural arts, which are one of the characteristics of cruise products, and the development of theme cruises for specific groups will be an opportunity for Korea to become the center of theme cruises.

Abstract
