Purpose:Thisstudywasperformedtoinvestigatethenursingstudent'sattitudestowardscommunicationskillslearningandtoexplorethepossibilityandtheconditionofchangingtheirattitudesaccordingtothecommunicationskilllearning. Methods:A totalof184nursingstudents(grade1and2)completedthe26-item communicationskillsattitudescale(CSAS)satisfactorilyandatotalof212nursingstudentsansweredtheopenquestionnaireforstudent'sattitudestowardscommunicationskillslearning.Factoranalysiswasconductedtodeterminethefactorsunderpinningthescale.Theinternalconsistencyofthesubscaleswasdeterminedusingcronbach'sα coefficients.SPSS12.0program wasusedforstatisticanalysis. Results:3 factors(「The usefulness& importance ofcommunication skillslearning」,「The negativerecognition ofcommunication skillslearning」,「Theexcessiverecognition ofcommunication capability」)wereextractedasaresultofCSASanalysis,whichwerereflectedwellintheresultofopenquestionnaire. Nursingstudentswereevaluatedtohavehighlypositiveattitudestowardcommunicationskillslearning,especiallyinthefactorof「Theusefulness& importanceofcommunicationskillslearning」. Conclusion:Highly positiveattitudesofnursing studentstowardscommunication skillslearning areexpectedtobecontributedtothedevelopmentofcommunicationskillseducationintheschoolofnursing.
