초록

Purpose : This study aimed to identify factors associated with health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among older adults living alone in Korea. Methods : Data were derived from the 2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES VIII-1). The sample included 357 individuals aged 65 years or older who were living alone. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0. Results : The mean HRQoL score of the participants was 0.85 ± 0.06. Multiple regression analysis revealed that household income (β = .05, p = .003), perceived health status (β = .40, p < .001), and limitations in daily activities (β = .32, p < .001) significantly influenced HRQoL (F = 10.66, p < .001), explaining 44.5% of the variance. Conclusion : Household income, perceived health status, and limitations in daily activities were key factors affecting HRQoL in older adults living alone. These findings suggest the need for targeted interventions to enhance perceived health and daily functioning, particularly among those with lower income or physical limitations.
