엔터프라이즈 아키텍처(EA)에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 최근 몇 년간 민간과 공공 부문에서 EA 의 구축이 활발하게 추진되어 왔다. 하지만 도입의 명확한 목표 의식이 부재한 상황에서 이러한 구축 노력의 성과는 기존의 IT 솔루션들이 보여줬던 그것과 크게 다르지 않았다. 몇몇 조직들은 이러한 상 황을 타개하기 위해서 스스로 활용 방안을 마련하여 수행하고 있지만 EA에 대한 인식의 부족과 제한 된 시간과 예산 부족으로 인하여 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어 내는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 각 국가별 활용 사례를 비교 분석하여 우리 실정에 적합한 EA 활용을 위한 접근 방법을 제시한다. 이를 위해서 활용 접근법을 크게 프로세스 접근법과 시나리오 접근법으 로 분류하고 각 접근법이 가지는 속성과 장단점을 파악하여 조직이 도입 목적에 따라 접근법을 EA 활용에 어떻게 적용해야 하는지 논의한다.
Abstract
As interests increased in Enterprise Architecture (EA), many private and public organizations actively adapted EA during the last few years. Without the clear goal on adapting EA, the results of these endeavors were not so different from those of former approaches. To solve this problem, some organizations developed and executed their own methods to use EA, but in most cases they failed due to the lack of recognition and the scarcity of time and/or money. To help manage these difficulties, this paper provides an approach to use EA that is applicable by analyzing and comparing previous methods that used EA from various other countries. For this work, we will classify approaches to use EA into two groups, i.e, process-based and scenario-based ones. We then analyze their properties and pros and cons. We also discuss how to apply each of these approaches to meet their needs.
