AI는 인공지능의 약어로 문자 그대로 해석하면 인공적으로 생성한 지능을 의미한다. 지난 십수년간 인공지능은 인간의 삶을 혁신적으로 개선해왔다. 딥러닝에서 시작된 인공지능 열풍은 IT 기술의발전에 힘입어 4차 산업혁명으로 이어지고 있다. 이제 인공지능은 기술의 변화가 아닌 사회의 변화가되고 있으며, 미래의 청사진이 되고 있다. 딥러닝을 기반으로 하는 오늘날의 인공지능은 분명 과거에비해 훌륭한 성능을 나타내고 있다. 그러나 ‘지능’이라는 단어의 정의에 부합하지는 않는다. 이는 딥러닝이 사고하는 인공지능이 아닌 모방하는 인공지능이기 때문이다. 게다가 알파고와 같은 모델은 특정분야에만 활용가능하다는 한계가 있다. 이에 최근에는 범용성이 높은 인공지능에 관한 연구가 활발히진행되고 있다. 범용 인공지능은 특정 문제가 아닌 일반적인 상황에 적용할 수 있는 인공지능을 의미하며, Chat GPT가 범용 인공지능에 해당한다. 하지만 범용 인공지능은 인간의 수준에 이르기 위해서는 아직 많은 발전이 필요하다. 범용 인공지능이 한 단계 도약하기 위해선 지능을 가져야 하며, 지능을 갖기 위해선 지식을 이해해야 한다. 본 논문은 과거의 연구를 통해 지식을 이해하는 새로운 구조를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 구조는 범용 인공지능의 연구에 활용할 수 있다.
Abstract
AI is an abbreviation for artificial intelligence, which literally means artificially generated intelligence. Over the past decade, artificial intelligence has innovatively improved human life. The artificial intelligence craze that started with deep learning is leading to the 4th industrial revolution thanks to the advancement of IT technology. Now, artificial intelligence is not a change in technology, but a change in society, and it is becoming a blueprint for the future. Today's artificial intelligence based on deep learning is clearly showing excellent performance compared to the past. However, it does not meet the definition of the word 'intelligence'. This is because deep learning is not a thinking artificial intelligence, but an imitating artificial intelligence. In addition, models such as AlphaGo have the disadvantage of being applicable only to specific fields. Accordingly, research on highly general-purpose artificial intelligence has been actively conducted recently. Artificial general intelligence refers to artificial intelligence that can be applied to general situations rather than specific problems, and Chat GPT is a artificial general intelligence. However, artificial general intelligence still needs a lot of development to reach the level of humans. In order for artificial general intelligence to take a leap forward, it must have intelligence, and in order to have intelligence, it must understand knowledge. This paper proposes a new structure for understanding knowledge based on past research. The structure proposed in this paper can be used in research on artificial general intelligence.
