한국 신종교의 개혁사상과 다문화가정

본 논문은 현대 한국 사회 속에서 다문화가정이 갖는 고통이 한국 신종교들이 창교될 당시의 민중이 겪었던 고통과 같은 맥락에 있다는 것을 전제하고서, 신종교들이 인간존중 사상과 조화와 융합사상으로 사회개혁에 앞장섰던 전통을 현대에 계승하고자 한다. 특히 금년은 동학의 창교 150주년을 맞이하는 뜻 깊은 해를 맞이하며, 또한 한국이 다문화가정을 중심하고 다문화민족으로 전환해야 할 중요하고도 문화적 위기를 맞이한 시점에서 신종교들이 가정문화 개혁에 주도적 역할을 하는 사명을 다해야 할 것이다. 길게는 150년에서 짧게는 50년 이상의 역사를 가진 신종교들이 창교 정신을 망각하여 다문화국가를 향한 개혁과 새로운 질서 체계 구축과 통합을 위한 사회적 패러다임의 재편에 앞서지 못한다면 현대인들로부터 외면당하게 될 것이다. 자칫 다문화가정을 중심하고 기성종교가 신종교가 되고 신종교는 노화된 종교로 전락할 상황에 처할 수 있는 때가 지금이다. 현대인들은 기성종교나 신종교라는 명칭보다도 고통당하는 이들에게 다가가고 동참하며 개혁을 위하여 노력하는 명실상부한 현대적 신종교를 찾고 있다. 그러므로 경제적, 문화적, 교육적, 법률적인 측면에서 다문화가정이 겪고 있는 고통에 관심하며, 저들의 고통 너머에 한민족과 인류를 하나로 연결할 수 있는 잠재적 가능성과 장점이 있음을 중시하여서, 신종교들이 다문화가정을 중심한 새로운 가정문화 정책개발과 실천을 통하여 한국을 다문화국가로 개혁시키고 하나의 지구촌 구현을 향한 전진에 앞서야 한다. 이를 위하여 본 논문은 신종교들이 추구할 새 가정문화 컨텐츠로써 신종교들 사이의 개방적인 교류 확대와 결혼 정책 등을 제시하면서 신종교들이 먼저 실제적 다문화가정이 되거나 의식적 다문화가정이 되어야 할 것을 주장한다. 본 고찰을 위하여 신종교들 중에서 동학, 증산교, 원불교, 통일교를 선택하였다.
Abstract
Korean New Religions were appeared among the social confusion and pains of people occurred by the inflow of foreign countries and the corruption of Joseon dynasty, and finally bestowed national religion or people's religion. Now, however, they have long history, from 50 to 150 years. We should remember that to keep the original reformative spirit of Korean New Religions is more important than long history. We should not satisfy with comfort and richness. Without having courage to devote ourselves to suffering people, New Religions would lose their reputation and honor. Therefore we should move the New Religion to True Religion which would be accepted by the citizen who are not concern the title but true and pure function of religion. In modern society, most of Multicultural Families still stay in the suffering states which are equal to the pains of people(Minjung) during the first establishment of New Religion, Donghak. But their sufferings have a potential power and should be used for the bright future, ideal world that all New Religions have been pursued as the concept of new heaven and new earth. The new concept of multicultural family would be developed by New Religions, which is summarized 10 items. Some of main ideologies of New Religions are Anthropocentrism, Harmony, and Confusion of Religions. And especially with the Inter-new religious marriage or visiting each other religious communities, the main idea suggested by this paper, New Religions can revitalize and achieve the original spirit of new religions that the establishers had already suggested. It could lead us a new huge family culture and the great one world, where human beings enjoy life together as a siblings, and pains could not be found there. Korean New Religions should be changed to World New Religions and True Religion, and after that should change Korea sustained by the old concept of blood lineage, homogeneous nation, and patriarchy to multicultural nation, and change world separated by boundaries between neighbor nations to One Great Family. It means that the common hope of Korean New Religions will be accomplished by Munticultural Families.
