Abstract

I will discuss the origin of Holy Grounds in Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. I categorize three different types of Holy Grounds. First, there are Holy Grounds related to Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s birth place and the locations where Rev. Moon was lived and preached at the early stage of Unification Church. In it, early Unificationists experienced joys and suffering along with hardship and persecution. Some of the first category were located in Chongjugun Sangsa-Ri, Pyongan-puk province, North Korea, Heukseok-dong, Seoul, Pusan Beomnaegol, and the old headquarter church in Seoul, South Korea. In the second categorization, Rev. Moon traveled throughout the world and selected the Holy Grounds in order to restore to the same position prior to fall. The Holy Grounds symbolize the restoration from the supervision of evil. The reason Father had to do it was due to the unavoidable dispensation of God. Finally, I want to point out Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Whereabout Holy Grounds. Rev. Moon deployed numerous activities in the certain locations centering on Family Federation for World Peace and Unification. I will explain Gyeonggi-do Province Cheongpyung Heavenly Training Center, Paju Won Joen, Jeollanam-do Province, Yeosu, Chunghae Garden, Seoul, Junggu, Chung Yee Ae Guan, Chung Nam Gong Ju Gab Sa, and Gyeonggi-do Hwasung-gun, Yamok Church.
